From Epic

..."Crewmembers should watch for follow-up communications from our Crewmember Services team regarding bidding and next steps, and "company leaders" will continue to keep you updated on the latest developments."

Company Leaders huh?
Wow, I didn't know we still had any of those around here. Learned something new today.

For those keeping count... no calls for the 5/21/07 class (yet?).

Thanks "Spoilers" for always adding the turd to the punch-bowl! Love ya', man!

"Tink", pm or email me...I'm calling BB in the Chief Pilots office tomorrow and will give him your SitRep...he's always been a pretty straight shooter type!

Congrats again to all, especially MP...you've been the only one in the union to keep us furloughees in the loop, and always returned calls. Thanks for the hard work!

Looking at the profile for Comair, about half-way down, it says "all pilots are reduced 1 year of seniority for pay until 2011 per LOA". I don't remember that. I was hired 2007. Does that mean, should a recall occur, I will hold first year pay even past my DOH?

You should return at what ever pay scale you left at. I don't think you accrued an longevity. Basically if you had been at comair for 2 years and have been furloughed for a year you don't come back on 3rd year pay. You would still comeback on 2nd year pay.

I think what you are refering to is "snapback." Everyone gets a pay raise in 2011 back to the old rates. Not even sure what the old rates were.

Welcome back to everyone! Good news around here has been due for a long time! Things are still not perfect but they have settled down a little bit. Just be on your toes with scheduling. Learn the contract cause they have no idea and will try to get you do illegal assignments in a heartbeat.

K so here's how I look at it (this is alcohol induced..sorry)

Out of the 100 letters that are going to be sent..

14 voluntaries are probably a no
and an additional 59 are the remainder of the January guys.
followed by 27 into the November fulroughs

All the 14 voluntaries are probably a no
my guess is that 40% of the invols from 1/19/09 will be a no as well
40% of 59=23

That's 38 no's in the first 100 already.

Historically 30% of furloughs don't come back..I think the January guys will be a higher bypass rate due to their higher times and ability to find more gainful employment once let go from Comair.

So an additional 8 will say no from the 11/5 group that gets touched by these 100 letters

Meaning that out of those 100...46 will say no.

Meaning 54 said yes...meaning an additional 20 recall letters beyond that.

This could go as deep as 120-130 pilots into the list.

OK, that took a lot out of me..advil and bed

First, congratulations to all of you returning to Comair!!! It has been a very long time for all of you.

My DOH is 09/07 and wonder if anyone close to my DOH has been called? I am out of country until the early June and wonder if the company will leave the message on my cell or simply bypass me?

Again, for those of you who have been waiting for this great news, Congratulations!!
