Thanks for the update, Trailblazer. Keep them coming so I can plan accordingly.

That is basically correct.

Historical at Comair is roughly 11 pilots per airframe.

At 98 airframes, that's 1050-1100 pilots, so at most maybe another 50 or so after these two classes of recalls.

After that it's just attrition, and with all the Comair guys leaving for Delta, the attrition number will be approximately two per year.

How many 50s are we scheduled to park in the next four years - all of them?

So if the former DAL guys hate former NWA guys and Comair guys, how do the former NWA guys feel about Comair guys?

Do the former Delta guys do all the hiring, or are there some former NWA guys in that department?

"Before the end of this year" is kinda vague. Can you pin it down a little better, specifically, for a summer 2003 hire who's about 230 from the bottom of the list?

And do you think I'll be able to hold MEM Captain when Delta transfers me to Compass?

You should just tell the Delta guys that you were furloughed from ACA and flew with the Jersey Guard until you got picked up by Northwest.

Delta guys are always falling for that one...

OK, many over 50% of the DAL guys don't care for the Comair guys purely based on that letter. If you don't know about the letter, ask about it, it was posted again just this year on the lastest and greatest thread and they are still POed about it. In my OPINION the strike, the letter and it's author were a waste of time. At least it was summer during the strike.

Well MESA won the case and Delta still has 50 seaters to get rid of....I doubt they'll have to deal with us much longer.

There have been pilots hired at DL from Comair, but very few when compared to the number of ASA pilots.

The DL pilots are not happy with us because of that letter, I don't really blame them. I wasn't here at the time it happened, so hopefully time will eventually heal the wound.

That being said Delta isn't the only good job out there.
