I think there were 12 of us. They were expecting 14-16, but a few people backed out at the very last minute.

What did they say the retraining footprint was going to be like? A full-blown new-hire training process or shave a bit off of it?

Much shorter than new-hire. It depends on how long you have been furloughed. They have divided the class into 4 individual classes. For the voluntary guys(off 7 months), They have 4 days of ground school, 3 sims, then the checkrides. For the January 09 guys, Its more like 7 or 8 ground days and 5 or so sims.(I think. I didn't actually see their schedule but I heard them talking.) basically 2 weeks for voluntary and 3 for involuntary. Some guys leave for a week, then come back and start to stagger the sims.

1 voluntary is CVG 70. Everyone else JFK.
