I am sure we will have an official number by the end of the week or early next week. That is when those of us who got recalled will be getting paper work on when, where, and what to expect when we return.

I would imagine that you need the variable of the weight at the bottom of the ARM to be greater. The reason pumping will not really help you out is because the force you apply while pumping is not sufficient to the length of the ARM that you made here. I would imagine that if you increased the weight on the swing and not the weight of the chains holding it you would have a stronger momentum.

I was thinking changing the last third to heavier chain... hopefully adding weight to the bottom of the swing.

A professor always said the best formula to remember is F=ma. You have a mass and a force and need to see if your acceleration is greater than gravity. My simple solution and SWAG.

Obviously Daddy Delta doesnt want you to swing that high Jesse...

NoStep - I am a big fan a SWAG.. it works.

"You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth."

swap out the chains for pipes or something solid and you'll be good, according to Mythbusters.
