I love how it says that the 70 Seat reconfiguration is going to be done by outside MX! Way to go Comair, thanks for the job security!!

I lose more and more faith in this company every day. Nice for our union to stick up and try to get some work in house for us. Oh wait...they keep getting the union dues every month, that's all that counts I guess.

Who does our outside MX?

Can Comair's mx department do a reconfiguration like this? I would think a certified aircraft interior installation facility would have to do it to comply with FAA requirements.

I just can't wait to see the first class passengers standing in the back of the plane with the other 10 people that want to use the one lavatory! Makes sense, turn a 70 seater into a 65 seater...and you only need one lav :-) Bad enough with 50 people in the CRJ filling up (and stinking up) the lav...now it will be 15 more people and longer flights, using one lav. Don't forget the Skyline chili guys, that will surely fill up the lav!

Here is the link. How was the last one you went to? Was it worth it?

Aviation Career Fair

It was like they said crowded and very long lines (depending on the company). Mostly foreign carriers, Amerijet was there line was out the door, Colgan and Cape Air I went to they had roughly 30 or so pilots in each room. It was free which was the best part.

This interior mod is being paid for by Delta not Comair...sooo they get to choose the who does the mods. We got together with SkyWest/ASA and Delta Supply Chain to determine which vendors to use for the materials used for the mods. United Express has been using this configuration on their 700's for a while now.

Who is going to be doing the mods?

It's out for RFP with Delta Supply Chain. I'll ask around.

Just got off the Delta 4Q call. CVG flying +/-5% for 2010. Nothing said about Comair, Mesaba, or Compass.

Bubba, is that plus or minus 5%?
