I'd say more like 25%-30%. Many people looking to get out as the economy recovers. People are starting to realize that this is just a typical regional.

Whatever the percentage is, those same folks have been talking about leaving Comair for the past 7 or so years. It's always an excuse though to why they don't leave. It's like they want to be a part of the "I'm getting the hell out of here" crowd, but they don't actually plan to do it. I agree there is nowhere to go right now, but when things get better and there are places to go, those folks get excited about staying and possible growth. How do you think so many of them got stuck as lifers?

My guess it'll be either 6 or 9 seats in First Class.

Exactamundo! It's 6 FC/60 Coach seating configuration. I personally haven't heard anything about going to a two class configuration on the 70's. I asked the Ng3 about it and he said that it wasn't a revenue maker, since most first class passengers are platnum/medallion upgrades. I'll snoop around as it may not have trickled down from managment yet.

Exactly! They always have a reason not to leave Comair, the most common is the family. They got a wife, kids and house in N. Kentucky, they don't want to take a paycut going somewhere else, they don't want to start over, etc.

To be honest, I think having a two class cabin on a -700 is ridiculous. They will have to take out the front Lav., so you'll have to go do the "walk of shame". SkyWest has been flying the 70 in a 3 class config. for United for quite some time... First Class, Economy Plus and Economy. Stupid if you ask me, like First Class is something special on a freakin' RJ.

I know I'm just a slow red-neck, so bear wit' me y'all...is "OnAutopilot" a F/O for us?(just assumed it, since he's the OP'er of our little home here at APC)

(insert totally unrelated rambling here) If Freedumb gets cut loose, they have 22 50-seaters operating for Delta, right? So, even though DaddyD wants to cutback 50 seat lift, aren't at least some of the routes/slots being flown by Messa still desirable. Since they're based in CVG & JFK, and we have a bunch of -200's sitting on the tarmac...how long before someone in the ATL ivory tower does something that might make sense...use ComAir! I know we're shedding airframes, but less reduction is still possible, no?

ok...gotta' go help some Bubba's who fell off the turnip truck with me!

I saw the memo that they were giving the folks that work for RHS. Delta is cutting flights.
One more thing, I also went in to one of our chief pilOTS who said this.....
wait for it....... What does Mesa filing bankrupcy havE to do with us? Delta hasn't said, but the company is working on bringing back all furloughs. For now all will have to wait and see. There are many rumors out there, but Delta hasn't told Comair what they plan to do. SO WE WILL ALL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE AND DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE RUMORS.
