"Comair is adequately staffed for it's mission." Comair's President for 2009 in ~ May 2008.
Emergency operations commenced today. Seems the company can't deliver on its obligations to Delta while delivering on its contractual obligations to its employees.
I find it amusing that not a single recalled pilot chose to come back on the mid-December date that was offered. They're not stupid enough to subject themselves to Satan's minions in Crew Scheduling during this time of year.

Eventually got them to move up the ferry flight and then just released ourselves and went home.
I knew what you meant, it wasn't that long ago.
On another topic, it seems that Eurostar is trying to duplicate Comair's Christmas fiasco:
My Way News - Eurostar train services canceled indefinitely

Yep this is true. Evidentily Babbitt is getting heat from ALPA, ATA, and the RAA who think everything is just fine. So he is making the excuse that they need more time to study the issue. Just another politician making an excuse to drag this out. Who knows when this fill be finalized. This country is too worried about health care at the moment.
Unfortunately it will take more loss of life to get anything done. Someone one once told me that FAR's are written in blood. I agree.
You don't want to come back to Comair. Things are worse than ever.
