That's where I get confused. We know they canceled the January furloughs, but when they said recall 23 pilots, are those the guys that just got let go in November, or is that in addition to the November guys, as in the first 23 of the January furloughs??

i understood it to be 23 that were let go in november and the cancellation of upcoming furloughs in january. i could be wrong though....
anyone think the conference call is going to have some new information or just the same stuff that we already know??? MP seemed to emphasize that all furloughees considering a recall should listen to this call and today's email sounded like there was more of an unofficial update for the future in 2010.
any ideas??

The Janurary 2010 furloughs are not included in the 23 recalls. The recall apply to pilots that are not on property.
I unfortunately think this is all in response to higher than expected attrition and the possible demise of Mesa as a Delta carrier. If Mesa goes under and Delta wants those 22 airframes covered, Comair will be the ones to cover those temporarily(Since these flights have already been booked in advance.) I can see this recall going the way of all the late 07 new hires. Lets hire just in case we get some flying that's not set in stone. Before you know it, Delta changes their mind and we furlough another 200!
