No. Comair used to do MCO-FPO in the "Brozilla"

Comair is coming back to CVG and that's straight from RA. S5 will be taking over for us. With Delta's new plan of no 50 seater flights over 650nm, I see the 70/90 staying up in JFk and over to LGA when the swap is approved.

Just out of curiosity, and this is a serious question, does anyone think that a recall will occur between the 2008 furloughs and the contractual 5 years?? Also, IF a recall occurs after the contractual 5 years, do you think the company will attempt to recall/rehire the furlough list first??

I would say that if Comair is going to recall it will not be before the Summer of 2013. A lot of age 65 will be retiring at that time an majors will be pulling pilots from the little guys like Comair if we are still in business.

P.S. In this business, things could change fast, so who knows what will happen in the next Week or the next 3 to 4 years.

Excellent point.

If "Comair" survives, recalls will happen due to attrition and forward/upward movement into the majors from qualified people (from the entire regional/furlough industry). The time line (2013) seems accurate, and we will never guess how many will be at work before then. Point being is this, I'm done with Comair. Barred anything unforseeable and unexpectable, I believe we should move on for obvious reasons.
That's my opinion and personally I wish to be wrong. Good luck guys

I agree, It's almost impossible to know for sure when a recall may come. The industry is extremely fluid especially now

Well written. I think it's time to position ourself for the next hiring boom. Maybe we will get lucky to land that dream job when that hits.

You have a valid point Evilboy
Even if Comair recalls this summer, why would anyone want to go back and spend the next few years on reserve. It will take 8 to 10 years to upgrade, so you have to live on a max of $40,000 for the next 8 to 10 years. I think a lot more of us will move on after the upcoming announcement on November 4th. regarding fleet reduction.
