Best course of action to take?

the Comair F.A. initials are D. W. J. -70/90 F.A.

He's thinking if the hiring managers hear about this he may not get hired
when and if it starts.

Sorry to take the thread off track but he's worried, ans so am I. You can PM your response if you wish.

Rant AHEAD!!

No doubt Evil you remember when I started this and everything seemed to be going well for them, (Working on reconciling) when out of the blue she slaps him with divorce papers. I was in thier wedding!!!!

She's back at it again, telling folks he's stalking her, etc. I told him to go for the jugular, any woman that lies on you to fellow crew members and tries to ruin you- kick her to the curb. This chick loves to tell crews he stuck her with a Sallie Mae loan, beat her, mistreated her etc. If anyone knows of this chick or hears of her telling people this ask her if she is supposed to be a "christian" why is she acting like this? I hate people who are supposed to be religous and then go out and do this! I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg for her, I'm sure on her overnights she can be quite the devil. (I don't really, just guessing.)

Anyway, just had to vent and I hope my bud wipes her butt out!!!

Rant OFF. I hate divorce.

O.K. time for a change. How's everyone's travel bennies working out? What do you all think of Mesa/Republic and anyone thinking about leaving the industry?

I've been traveling ALOT and fortunately have not had much trouble getting around. Out of hundreds of flights I think I did not make about 3 of them and was never stuck overnight. I also had first class plenty of times. I know I have been very lucky and others are not having the same luck.

My wife and kids have been using the Flight benefits with absolutely no problems. The NW flights have been the best.

Don't know what to think of Mesa/Republic but that may turn out to be quite creative resulting in Mesa being around for another 50 years.

Can't leave the industry... Dad was with the old Frontier, Older bro with SWA, younger bro with USAir... me with multiple airlines since '86... It may sound sad, but I don't want to work anywhere else but 121.

Hey Auto what's new?.
I do remember the conversation about your friend and his soon to be ex-wife. I'm going to withold comment 'cause it's going to be bitter and impartial. With the said, I hope she rots in hell. Anyhow, have not done any non-rev traveling since the furlough. The 2 times I have traveled have been on rev tickets. Hell, I haven't even paid the $50 non-rev fee due in may. In other words, I'm not active. Figured if I need to go some where in a pinch, I'll pay it then.
What are you doing for work?. I'm still bartending, but this time for a brand new luxury hotel here in town. A good friend of mine (and my accountant) is married to this lady who happens to be a Sr VP is this very large chain of hotels. She's decided to help me out and walk my resume into their flight dept. We'll see what happens there.
Time for me to go now, the couch seems lonely and I have a newspaper to read.

I've been using my flight bennies a lot since I got my new gig; I have not had any problems with them. I've been getting first class on 90% of my flight.

I do not know what to think about Mesa/Republic. I got a bad feeling that Delta will contract Republic to fly 100 seat airplanes for them. The reason why I think that is because they have not said or done anything to stop them from buying frontier or Midwest. I hope I'm wrong.

I can't leave this industry because it's like a drug once you try it you want more. I think I am the few who is willing to go back to Comair when the recall starts (if ever).

I am on the furlough list too and I fully expect it to happen come Jan. I am looking forward to a break from JF'nK. It is sad to think you are willing to go back to a **** job at OH at JFK. Geeeze just thinking about that makes me want to put a gun to my head. LOL Since the Aviation Safety bill has been passed and will be put on the POTUS'S desk maybe that combined with the 65 rule might turn this industry around in three years. I hope so because it is garbage now. This is the worst job I have ever had.

FA rumor so take it with a grain of salt.
Comair is calling furloughed FA’s to see how many would come back if recalled.
Comair is hiring FA trainers “Email on epic to hire part time trainers”.
Comair might hire FA’s to put in a hiring pool.
The Reason for that:
Closing CVG as a base and expecting a lot of FA’s to quit.
Any truth to this rumor?
