Comair updates?
Not the first to go either; they announced months ago that supply chain (finance) would be eliminated at the wholly owneds and would be done at the mainline DL level.
With formation of RHS, and elimination of Customer Service, expect to see reductions in HR, IT, and Finance in future as Comair goes from employing 6000 to half that.
Now return you to your regularly scheduled (if accuracy challenged) rants.

I love it! I love hearing while out flying that Comair is saving Delta because Comair turned a profit and Delta didn't.....Different pockets of the same pair of pants (or Jacket, shirt, or shorts).
Any transfer of aircraft leased by Comair would require approval by the leasor. We actually had Bombardier refuse a transfer of one of our -200's to Pinnacle. It's still flying for us today! That's also the reason they didn't take away more -700's on that last RFP. Delta could only award those that were leased by Delta, which left the 15 leased by Comair.
Very true. It basically comes out a wash, but Comair is required to pay the bills on all aircraft leases, and to vendors which comes out of our profit margin. It's basically Delta paying us an allowance! We get a little extra scratch from MRO which is also a wash since most of it comes from Delta through Mesaba. Our line maintenance MRO at GSO, CVG, JFK, and BOS (from non w/o regionals) and Air Wisconsin engine repair work is our only true profit not traced back to Delta. With the CS contracts transfering over to REAS at the end of the month with CS, it takes away a little bit from our profit margin.

I heard a rumor that Air Wisconsin was unhappy with there service they are getting from ExelTech, they beat us out on the heavy contract. rumor is the contract is subject to cancelation after the end of the year. Any word if we are gonna try to get that work??
