With that, over 400 folks will be furloughed from RHS since mainline lost all those international departures and Delta wants thier folks to do it.
Sounds legit, and they still have time to "blame it all on the economy".

Selfishly, I sort of hope it happens so I can get out of the XJ pool. Comair sure as heck isn't going to be getting any better anyway...

The displacement bid is out on epic. After looking at current positions filled and expected positions available it looks like exactly 100 furloughs. (and that's what is says beside the asterisk)

The Mesaba FAs have been learning the 700 in their recurrent ground classes. Seems like it's definitely something that has been talked about as a good possibility....moving the 700 to Mesaba.
Just to keep with the "Delta way" big daddy will first give them to ASA, then to Freedom, then to Pinnacle and then eventually to Mesaba.

My guess is Mesaba FA's are learning the 700's because Momma DAL is going to merge Mesaba & Comair. They already have to know the 200's & 900's. Teach them the 700's & BAM! Comair & Mesaba merge.

Why not just get rid of Comair and distribute the 70/90's to Mesaba and drop most of the 50 flying? Maybe give some to ASA, CHQ... It looks like it makes since to me from a business perspective... you would be able to get rid of all the dinosaurs on Comair's list.

If they merge us then Comair had better be stapled to the bottom of the list. Just like everyone's saying, Comair has some serious dinosaurs~!

Oh great here we go. My airline is better then yours. My POS contract is better then your POS contract. Delta likes us better. We are owned by Delta, CEO loves us because we were part of NW.

Bottom Line we all suck.

Comair SUCKS
Mesaba SUCKS
Compass you suck too even though you engines are under your wings does not make you any better.

Nope... if they merge, it'll probably be by DOH and us furloughed folks will be stapled.... because I have the DOH at Comair of a -900 CA at Mesaba...

Don't worry, that's not true anymore thanks to our furloughs and displacements....

Hey don't start that. You'll get the thread closed. I never said Mesaba was better than Comair or Comair was better than Mesaba. I was just responding to the "merger" comment posted by someone else. If they merge (which I don't see happening) then I Comair should be stapled to the bottom of the list because of my selfish desire to not be shoved down the list. Now if you're Comair then you want to be integrated because you're an older pilot group. That's all I was saying. Take a deep breath and chilllllllll
