Comair updates?

Yeah, it's called a joke. I don't think anybody expects us to "acquire" the air force. Would be nice to be able to bid to the F22 or something, but don't see that.

What?! Man there goes the IFE! That flight is always wide open. I usully catch that flight to get home to SAN through SLC.

BTW, does anyone know why they got rid of our CVG-DEN flight that we had on the CR9?

From what I've heard, Delta gives SkyWest more leeway when it comes to getting their aircraft scheduled in and out of SKW domiciles. They have to make it easier for their pilots. They have the ORD flight so they can get their piltos to and from their domicile. It was liek I was at Mesa, when they started -900 ops out of CLT. There had to be common transfer point destinations in order to get pilots and aircraft shuttled between PHX routes and CLT routes. Do you think Delta was gonna let us (Comair) fly that CVG-SLC route. No way in hell! I don't know why they have such a soft spot for SkyWest?

Well, there used to be 4 daily flights to DEN. 3x DL MD-88 and we used to have a really late (10 pm) out there that came back at 6 a.m. Now, there are only 3 daily flights to DEN. 1X SkyWest CR9 and 2 DL MD-88, with the last one leaving CVG at 5 p.m. So, basically they just got rid of the CMR flight. I remember some of the CR7/9 pilots like the DEN flights, cause it was a 30+ hr. layover and the hotel we used was right downtown. Maybe one of these days the flight will return.
As far as SkyWest goes, I think you used to see the CR9 in CVG a lot more. Now, they only go to ORD, DEN, DFW and I guess SLC in a few months. I remember they used to go down to FLL, but we took over that flight once we got the CR9.

Ok so who else got 6 ready reserves scheduled for next month already? Ugh maybe if they would actually call me to fly when I'm sitting in ops playing with myself for 6 hours, but that hasn't happened yet the 5 times I've had to do it this month.
Just my little vent.
