Why not make an iPhone application that just replaces scheduling all together. Built on the apple platform it won't crash as much, will use logic, make sense, and can be a productive part of the Comair experience. Then sell to then for say $1billion and free pass beneifits for life!

The billion dollars would be nice, but the S3ZzzzZZZzzz9099RQ boarding priority or lack thereof would suck.

Changing gears here, United's RFP- do you think Comair has a shot?

Seeing as how Comair is wholly owned, would they even be able to bid UAL flying? I'm not flaming, just curious. I would think they would NOT be allowed to.

Our last CEO said yes...I have my doubts though

Our last CEO (our two or three ago... I can't remember we've had so many) said Richard Anderson gave approval to seek flying from other carriers, as Delta would benefit from Comair's additional income, since they own us and all.

But who knows, he lied about everything else too.

That is actually a possibility and could be accomplished with 'cloud computing.' Locally, NKU has a mobility application and development lab so you could contract with them to build it on the cheap then sell it to Comair acting as the broker.

As for the BOHICA application, that's just beautiful!

Not sure how things are looking now, but IIRC, Bubba mentioned last year that United reps had visited the Comair facilities a number of times...and were apparently happy with what they saw.
