Hey guys, have a question.
For some masochistic reason I went into Epic and diddle with the bid for next month, until I noticed something. Are all the 200s in JFK now?. Did I miss something?. The hours in JFK are going up by an additional 876. Obviously that's just for july and maybe august. Do they have the personnel to cover all lines plus the normal reserves?. In CVG, the 700 hours are going up by 200 for july, are they staffed also?. Besides lack of space, what other reason is there for not basing the 700s in JFK since Cincy is dead?.
Anyhow, I'm sure some of these questions have been discussed here. I appreciate your answers.

Interesting Memo
Below is a memo issued by my current employer (I'm a Comair furloughee) regarding checked baggage. I thought some of you might get a kick out of it. I guess I always took it for granted that refrigerators were not allowed as checked baggage. See below:
[B][B]Special notice for Johannesburg-Lagos guests
June 2, 2009
Intending guests on Arik Air’s services between Johannesburg and Lagos should note the following:
* The Airports Company South Africa
does not permit the following items as checked-in baggage:
o TV sets (inclusive of Plasma and LCD)
o car parts (inclusive of tyres)
o radio
o generators
o refrigerators.

Could you imagine if there was a Full Blown Representative mailing campaign? If EVERY Pilot emailed EACH of thier State Representatives Every Single Opportunity they had?
I bet that:
1) ATP requirements would increase Keeping the rif raf out of the industry.
2) Duty time Regulations would improve drastically.
3) The Whipsaw Bull that Regional carriers endure would END.
We have a Dem in the WhiteHouse, Dems all over Congress, and a favorable FAA administrator......
IT must be because we have ALPA that we cant seem to get any positive changes accomplished.

1) Said Representative would have administative staff change adjust junk mail filter to include (fill in your email adress)
Well Comair finaly took its toll on me. I put in my 2 weeks today! I am looking forward to spending every night at home and working a normal job in which you get paid for every hour you work. No more commuting, crashpads, eating every meal out....I can't wait. For those of you who don't want to get furloughed or want to get called back, I hope my spot helps you.

SPOILERS.....chill man. Let the anger go!.
No one is insinuating anything. I'm curious as to how they plan to do this with such short rank and file available. (H46BUBBA...feel free to comment here. Your oppinion is welcome.)
DIVER DRIVER, thanks for your response. I believe you might be right. So far, it is the only explanation that makes sense.
