Clearly you neglected the "how do we make everybody more miserable" index factor.

PS just saw the new VARS message. Glad to see they're on top of the long-call-getting-switched-to-short-call issue, even though last May when I was able to hold long call some of my days were getting switched...and I'm sure it was happening long before then too.

Now that this issue is affecting senior and union guys, they are on top of it!

am i missing something here? on my last week of reserve with Comair back in January, I had my LC1 switched to a Short call due to "rest requirements". Just as the union suggested, i filed an e-gif and got the ball rolling. Sure enough, right away the union guy RP was all over it and said it was illegal and all that crap. After numerous phone calls and emails, I get this message

"On 1/17/2009 10:08:35 PM RP wrote
After investigating your e-gif and lookin over the contract 24-38 17(c) the company may change your reserve period for the following day, if your rest conflicts with your reserve window for the next day. In our opinion there is no violation of the contract. If you have nothing further we will consider this case closed."

What a bunch of crap. If it isnt illegal, then why keep ****in and moanin about it. Cmon do some real work

If you guys wanna know more, lemme know, i got it all saved.

I would re-submit it. Obviously what was illegal was then legal and may soon be illegal again.

Maybe you can get a little payout from the "class action grievance" or whatever they call it.

And if not, at least you'll be making someone do a little work for one of our furloughed guys.

Hey guys how would you handle a Comair F.A. that is lying to fellow pilots about you so as to hurt your future career aspirations with an airline in the future?

This chick has almost a whole pilot group believing a buddy of mine is a total douche bag- one guy is so ****ed he wanted to fight him and now my bud thinks they may have something going on. (They are still married)

Best course of action to take?

the Comair F.A. initials are D. W. J. -70/90 F.A.

He's thinking if the hiring managers hear about this he may not get hired
when and if it starts.

Sorry to take the thread off track but he's worried, ans so am I. You can PM your response if you wish.

I haven't heard about this, how about some more details....and I would hold off putting up her employee number.

All the more reason not to date at work.

297 pilots on furlough
100 more furloughs to come this fall
No growth

I would tell your buddy not to worry about it, Comair will not be hiring in the next 4 to 5 years.
Posting an employee number on a public message board is highly inappropriate.

Refering to the original post about the FA:

Wow, that is nice of you to try to ruin her career (or make her dealing with crews a lot tougher) by posting her initials and Emp#. Hopefully someone will remove these post, quickly. Comair employees are having a tough enough time without the extra problems with this.

Oh, and my thoughts are that Comair will never hire again. They will be merged with Mesaba and will no longer be the same airline.

You could edit the # out of your quote.
