Can anyone think of why the director of corporate safety would be doing IOE right now? He has a seniority number of 1435, but a 66XX employee number.

Maybe he didn't pass it the first time he tried 15 years ago. Or, maybe he will be taking on additional duties as a pilot while maintaining his current position.

If his pilot seniority number is 1435, he should be unemployed right now.

I believe there was in issue with someone in Management (M.S) who is now not employed with Comair that was still on the seniority list though he wasn't an active pilot.

Let's say this guys was taking on additional duties. Why would this be allowed? People are furloughed. Why would the company bring on an additional pilot? And to that..... He would fall in order of his seniority on the pilot list, not company employee number and would therefor be furloughed.

Sounds corrupt if you ask me.

Agreed, this is an outrage. He should not be allowed to fly.

S3C on Mainline and DCI contract regionals. S3 on Comair, Compass and Mesaba flights. Delta is S3 on all Delta and DCI flights. S2's for W/O are only available for use on Comair, Compass, and Mesaba flights only! Oh and here's another kick in the nuts, DL mainline parents, nondependant children, and retirees are S3B's!

I think it's time to move on to Delta or start buying tickets!
