Guys, getting lots of response about my previous post.
Here's the deal, trying to get some time in a seminole or seneca for a little fun/work at some places I used to work at. Not sure yet what the rate is going to be. Let my check out lapse, so have to that first -my expense-. After that -and since i'm an MEI- i'll be able to bring/share the reduced cost. Anyone in the MCO are is more than welcome. Please PM and i'll let you know how to get in touch with me.
Btw, as off right now, can get a G1000 T182 -with A/P- for about $180 p/h. Trying to get it at lower rate.

This is a huge savings if you currently elect to have cobra and pay the 102% premiums.

Second- Anyone single with no kids and receiving food stamps? Trying to figure out if I'm eligible in the sunshine state.

Third- Ive been furloughed since October and feel like I have lost almost all knowledge of aviation. I cant afford to rent a airplane. Anyone else feel like this?

Fourth: GO METS!!

he said......

(I guess you all's contract is coming up soon.) EXPECT Comair /Delta to offer you guys a contract that THEY consider to be fair or has it put it in line with other DCI carriers. He said that the PILOT & F/A COST ARE STILL TOO HIGH. This offer will be a take it or leave it type deal. If you decline as they expect you to, Comair will be FURLOUGHED out of existence. Looks like anyone who had the preminition as to why BENDO was truly here, there you go.

The manager that told me this was ****ed, he was a Manager in C/S, and was told he would have to reapply for his job, except Northwest wants thier people in his department and more than likely he would not be offered his position back - that's about 98% of the managers. If anyone cares and like you/I really can, I would suggest moving on.
Your source sounds like HE is speculating.... but you are right.... as of right now we are not in a good position to bargain for a better contract. However DL can get rid of us whenever they want... Don't need a new contract to change that. Plus our contract is not really better than our competitors. In fact our pay scale is starting to look sub-par. Our Crew cost overage is mostly due to our senior pilot base. However I believe that will equalize with our current competitors as more regional pilots at other regionals decide the jump to the majors isn't worth the risk?

I was awarded a line for this month that carries in to next month. The last trip of Feb ends on March 1st around 8:00 in the morning. Can the company now award my reserve windows for March to include adding a reserve window on March 1st in addition to the end of my trip? I was awarded LC1 the entire month and I am off on the second. Basically gave me then end of my trip that was awarded this month + LC1 on March 1st. Does that fall under double DSL or is that legal?

March 1 is part of February's bid period. (Jan 31 to Mar 1 = 30 days)

So you're not on reserve until March 2nd, and since you're off that day you'll finish your C/I trip and be done until the 3rd.

If it was any other month, I think that would be a double DSL and thus illegal. Not sure though.

I actually looked at it wrong. My trip ends on March 2nd and that is the day that they have me on an LC1 window after my trip ends and I am off on the 3rd. I get in at 7 something in the morning and was scheduled to release near 8:00, but now I have an LC1 window on there that starts at 5:00 am. So is my report time 5:50am as it was previously awarded, or is it now 5:00 am? Looks like Double DSL to me.

Sounds like double DSL to me, have an ALPA scheduling rep take a look at it to officially affirm.

Does anyone remember what site was used to submit your applications to the airlines? I need to apply to 12 places to keep my unemployment. I figure I can find 12 major airlines to apply to.
