Is there a coincidence between the closing of the early out program and the closure of the Freedom JFK base??

The early out closes in 2 weeks...

and freedom is closing their base in may...

I'm confused as to where you're seeing a connection?

Well....if they are closing their base....that means someone has to do the flying out of there.....IE Senior Cinci Captains.....

If this announcement came the day after Comair closed the 55/EarlyOut program, especially if this drives a huge displacement of pilots to JFK, a lot of guys would be screaming "Conspiracy!" and bashing stuff.

Today is the day after the original close date of the EOP/55P.
