So, what's new in the world of Comair? I've been out of the "loop" for a while.

Still no profit check in the mail today. All I got was a Comair pin from S.B. I want money!!

Hey! Welcome back, we were beginning to wonder about you. Nothing new, no money and no good news.... things have been pretty par for the course since your departure.

Nothing new... ng4 talking gloom, 16 pilots taking buyouts, no hams, Mesa's in court this week to win more Comair flying, ALPA feels the pain for our 300 furloughed pilots, ASAP coming back soon, Delta closed concourse C so the people can have jetbridges and now we park at B with no jetbridges, the usual.

Welcome back!

So it looks like Freedom will close JFK operations May 2nd and move all of it to CVG. (from another thread) I guess the rumor of reopening concourse C is true after all. Would make sense why the vendors still have their products on the shelves over there.

I'll believe it when I see it. But does this mean that Comair will close down its CVG operation and move to JFK? One can hope...

I think it's awesome.

1.) cincinnati is a dying hub.
2.) JFK is a growing hub..one can hope comair will grow there, as Delta continues to increase their international presence
3.) If Comair goes BIG into JFK, and a lot of senior folks are displaced..I'd be willing to guarantee MASSIVE amounts of crusty CVG Comair captain retirements
4.) Everyone wins, F8 goes away...and Comair once again owns CVG and JFK, we start hiring in April of 2015 and I become captain in May of 2020 and retire a crusty CVG Captain. MAN i love it when it goes full circle.
