They have no firm packages out there for severance packages from what i got by 1/2 paying attention to the call in line.

Yea I called in as well, he described something to the effect of, we are working out the details on possible severance packages

I'm sure ALPA will work something out for our senior guys... as soon as the eMaestro and Soap issues are addressed.

eMaestro and Soap will never be resolved. At this point I think ALPA is simply creating messes just to justify their work. If this company is still around Delta/Comair will make sure that Soap is still here at least until the next contract is negotiated.

Don't count on very many senior pilots to accept a buyout. I doubt it would be worth it for the company to offer much more than 6 months pay in addition to flight benefits. Most senior pilots still get pretty good schedules and make good money. Why leave early in this economy?
