This is bad news. I just happened to be at TYS shortly after this happened and 9E, DL and OH were all in a frenzy. I was told he was ran over by the jetbridge (at least one leg) and that he will most likely lose that leg. Didn't know it was both legs! My goodness...

crap....one of the rampies gave my crew his #...... i hope it wasnt him...he was young, like 20..........nice kid
A couple years ago a rampie was killed in DTW when he was crushed between a beltloader and a Comair CRJ. Day VFR.
Watch yourselves on the walkaround.

No joke...Can't tell you how many times I've seen rampers swing those things around aircraft while looking elsewhere...Eyes and ears on the ramp, folks...

It's Sunday and might I add bone chilling cold with the windchill in CVG. These poor ramp guys. I was miserable doing a walk around let alone working outside in it all night. They are really short staffed everywhere. Hard to believe so many delays could even take place late on a Sunday night. Nobody left to work the ramp, no FAs to call in and no reserves on the pilots side.
