If I remember correctly, Dr. Villegas only charges $20 out of pocket if you use your Comair insurance. Then you can always get the form for medical reimbursement in the Chief Pilots office to cover the out of pocket expense.
Anybody notice Comiar's completion percentage today? Havent ever seen it that low.

Yeah, I'm back to instructing but it is not keeping me very busy at all. No one really wants to learn to fly these days.
Art actually called me and tried to move me up into an earlier class but I had just graduated college that week and wanted to take a week off before heading to class. Although I would have been furloughed, I think I'd make more collecting unemployment than I would instructing currently.

Of course, might be tuff the week of Christmas. I tried to get in during Christmas week last year so I could go to my Mesaba Street Captain interview with a fresh 1st class (not the second, extra six month FO part), but they couldn't get me in. Mesaba hired me anyway, then I faxed them the medical when I got it done in January. The folks at Mesaba and Dr. Villegas are really cool.
I think the 47.5% completion is to celebrate the one month anniversary of our newer CEO, ng4.
I truely believe, down in the cockles of my heart, that history will reveal that the only person who never got to be a CEO at Comair was... 2PAC.

They've always gotten me in within a week or so. I always wind up going on Tuesdays, but they're open a couple other days each week for Flight Physicals.

How do you guys feel about the resignation of our MEC Chair? Is it a step in the right direction? I feel that the Comair MEC has done nothing to help this pilot group. It still amazes me that they pulled ASAP out.

ASAP is supposed to be a joint venture between the union the company and FAA investigators to get pilots to report accidental incidents without fear of repercussion. The company didn't hold up their end of the agreement
