I somehow guess this with result in flying being taken away from us and many more 100% competion days. Does our performance really even matter?

Nice.........it would be fun to see those 20+ years senior folks in a Saab. Their egos will crush them......Nice fantasy

I don't think that matters. I am possibly leaving this company in the next couple of weeks, so this is more a piece of advise for those that plan to stick around to see what happens.

Your merger committee is hard at work. Now, more than ever Delta and DCI, or whatever the new holding company will be is going to push that flow through clause. This announcement will give fuel to both sides of the argument. However, Delta and Northwest pilots are going to be pushing for the FLOW BACK and there are much more of them than there is of you. Now is the time to make your voice heard that you don't want a Flow Through. You will never see it!

British Airways and Quantas are in merger talks now. Do you think that will shed more pilot jobs. And to think that there was talks about a pilot shortage last year. Boy that changed pretty quick.

Since that's all they ever talk about ("back in the bro'/saab days, blah blah blah), I think many would actually welcome the opportunity!

So, who thinks the 7 day displacement notice will be out within the next 5 days?

lol.. then the -900 CA's pull out on the runway and do the 90 degree turn, overshooting the centerline in the Saabs and start crying.

I think that there should be a furloughed pilots bailout package from the government. A package that would allow you to go back to school to start over in another profession.

I think it will take a little more than 5 days. This time Delta has to figure out how to use us once again to save mainline jobs. I'm sure they have a committee in place right now working on how they can manipulate Comair's agreement.

BTW.... I have to give props to P1ayn. Although, I wish he wasn't right about the direction Comair is going, he is. I'm sorry I doubted you man.
