$10/hr for multi time? That's impressive (and improbable). You sure you didn't mean $6000? I've heard of people having occasional interview troubles with time logged from the Ari Ben programs if you are close to the line. Any recent news?

Oh, sorry. Yes, 6k is more like it. lol. I think I was a bit sleepy.
BTW, Republic was the only place that questioned my multi time. If you are already a CFI, then an MEI might be cheaper. Just found that the company I worked for had a really strict insurance policy so it was cheaper for me to time build.
Sorry for the confusion. Hope that helps.

The simple answer to your question is RAH is great compared to Colgan. Yes I think XJT is better to currently work for. However there are other things to consider. I wanted to work at XJT, and would have should things have gone that way, but was worried about long term stability. That is an issue for anyone in this industy with the posibilty of another 9/11 happening but I still felt RAH was the most secure of all the regionals except horizon. There are many great things there and several bad. Most regionals seem to be able to say there are many bad things and a few good. RAH will make you happy and that's what counts. Regionals are all crappy and having worked for colgan you'll know how to appreciate what you get.
Hope all turns out well,

I had about 1700 hours starting out. I did a 135 gig in the past, but that was over 2 years ago.
As far as the 40 hours of multi, I believe they are holding fast to the 100 hour mark. Its easier to waive some total time. You know the thought process on how to deal with an engine failure in a multi is different than a single. You only get one option with the TBM. They are looking for the experience going through the process of planning the what if's that happen when you still have the option to go. Get an MEI, you'll hit 100 hours real quick and be better off because of it.

Someone I knew from a flight school I used to work at in Western PA who has been flying a Baron and TBM.. thought that might be you. Apparently, I was incorrect.
