Default American Eagle - How do upgrades work?

At Mesaba, the upgrades work like this:
SAAB FO --> SAAB CA --> CRJ CA
CRJ FO --> SAAB CA --> CRJ CA

How do they work at American Eagle?
ERJ FO --> ???
SAAB FO --> ???
ATR FO --> ???

As you can tell, you don't upgrade. At least not for 7-10 years. Plenty of time to figure it out then .

P.S. I'm just playin'. Sort of.

To upgrade at Eagle...
ERJ FO (8 years, then give up) --> ERJ/CRJ/SABB/ATR FO OAL (1-2 years) --> ERJ/CRJ/SAAB/ATR CA OAL.

Or you can just do this
ERJ FO OAL (1-2 years) -->ERJ CA OAL

How do they work at American Eagle?
ERJ FO --> SAAB CA, ATR CA, JET CA
SAAB FO --> SAAB CA, ATR CA, JET CA
ATR FO --> SAAB CA, ATR CA, JET CA

You can go from any FO position to any CA position. Its just a matter of howlong you want to wait for the upgrade. Saab/ATR are the most junior CA(7-8yrs), ERJ is about 8-9yrs, and CRJ CA is around 15yrs+

For FO seats, once you are in a jet/prop you cant go laterally to a different jet/prop that is the same payscale. I.E. no ATR FO to SAAB FO, no ERJ FO to CRJ FO.

most guys go from the erj fo to an atr sju CA. the saabs particularly in dallas and la ca are real senior. after a year or so sweating it out in the atr they can go to the erj. forget the crj most people on this forum will be dead before they can upgrade to that airplane.

Nice fosters, nice. I'm an Eagle fan, but that was funny.
