Holiday Inn, try to get on the second floor, the first floor (rooms) need to be remodeled,(least when I was there) also if your picked as class prez, you get a room to yourself.

It is the Holiday Inn on JFK Blvd. I had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool and would not have traded it for anything especially with all the CAL flight attendants they had at the hotel with us Don't remember anything about a class president...sounds kinda cheezy to me...also haven't ever heard of anyone getting shot at. We went out at night a lot down there with out any trouble. Several people had cars and no one had a problem getting broken into or anything.

Holiday Inn. Class sizes are 16 and 32 and everyone has a roomate. If you are remotely close enough to drive, drive. I got much more sleep knowing that I could leave whenever I wanted to every morning. I heard about the CAL pilot that used his flight bag as a shield Stratton. I didn't have any problems while at IAH Holiday Inn. However, if you do your sims at Hobby, watch out. That place is a little more rough.

Thanks
This will be interesting no doubt. Let me see if I get this right. All at XJT training are paired with a roommate no single occupancy is provided unless your willing to split the fees. I see that they have internet in the hotel and/or rooms. Do they charge for either hard wire version or use of wireless (WiFi)? Do the room come with a fridge/microwave? Would be nice to get a room on floor 5. How long is the commute to training facility. How is systems class taught?
