Best of luck to all of you guys interviewing tomorrow. I've been here over 3 1/2 years, half of it as a pilot, and I can tell you, this is the place to be. Great bunch of folks over at the training center will bend over backwards for you, as long as you have a good attitude. Once again best of luck and stay away from good eats....look at what it did to Saab....it turned him into a monkey

All of the above...except maybe not go back to the hotel. Good Eats aint worth it. To save money, a lot of guys bought stuff at the Wal-Mart Super Center (the hotel van will take you there, ask the front desk for the schedule) to brown-bag it. There is a community fridge in the training center to keep your lunch in. Just make sure you have a way to keep food cold at the hotel. Don't want to come down with the squirts during class or a sim or anything. The training center has someone cater lunch each day for $5. Might be Chinese one day, Italian the next, BBQ another. They always have Mexican on Mondays. There is also a wheel of death if you're into Hot Pockets or stuff like that. If you have access to a car there is Subway, Taco Bell, Church's Chicken, Jack in the Box, Godfathers, and a tasty Greek place (forget the name) all on JFK Blvd about a 5 minute drive from the training center.

Everyday, a different restaurant caters in the cafeteria and it is usually $6. It's usually a Mexican, Italian, BBQ, Chick-Fil-A, or a Chinese place...stuff like that. Most people start out eating at the cafeteria and end up eating out as people get tired of the same food and figure out who has the cars in the class.

Welp I'll be interviewing on the 18th. Anyone else going to be there on Wednesday?

Also, my email gave me an interview time of 1 pm, so during the time between showing up and then, what will I be doing?

Suppose I get the offer on July 17. Once in training how long till your CAL and CAL Express Travel privileges kick in? Same goes for medical and dental benefits. Also, can you jump seat express jet and/or CAL mainline with the temp ID badge since it is a subsidy of CAL MAINLINE until you get the permanent ID badge and CASS clearance?

From that way I heard the story, that happened down at HOU flight safety. Not at IAH.

You need to go to www.aviationinterviews.com and study up on there. EVERYTHING you need to know will be on there. Sometimes questions will be on there word for word. But still be yourself and likeable. There is NO sim ride. GOOD LUCK

That's weird...I'll be interviewing on the 18th aswell, but my e-mail sais it starts at 9am. Maybe they try to divide it in two different groups?
Are you flying in the same day, or staying a night in the hotel?
