DEC at Envoy/Piedmont/PSA
Slightly different take on the previous thread regarding choosing one of these 3.
Considering a DEC position at one of these wholly owned carriers. Will be commuting from CMH. Have seriously considered Republic because of the CMH base, but the stability seems better at the wholly owned carriers over the next few years. Don't want to join a sinking ship. Also, Republic’s pay rate seems to be no where near comparable to the others. Wont stay at a regional for life, just thinking of cashing in on the bonuses and TPIC time for the next thing.
So here’s the question:
Which of these 3 will be the best bet for a commuter stuck in eternal reserve as a DEC? Im aware that it will suck, min days off, etc. Are they all essentially similar QOL and work rules, just different bases and aircraft? Or does one have an edge over the others? Have lots of E170/175 time, if that matters.

I thought that the rates were good until 2024? Is that not correct?

The rates are good until June 2024 and there is an option for them to be extended.
Junior man is very rare at PSA. If you do get junior manned you get 175% pay for min day of 4 hours.. so an extra $1,050 to DH home is not awful at a minimum or if you get done past 2:00 am. The captains are not used much at DAY either, so you’ll be sitting at home a lot or sitting hot reserve and driving in for that. If you can drive to work that’s way better than commuting
Also the commuting policy at PSA is great. Just 2 attempts on any carrier and if you don’t make it in, try again the next day.
