So I quit at TSA. I turned in all my manuals and ID's and left on good terms on the Richmond, VA side of things. Payday came and went. I was supposed to be paid on Friday the 1st of June. Never happened.
Thanks to that the auto bill pay I had set on my Bank Of America rounded up in about $200 in overdraft charges. I don't know what to do! I could really go knocking on someone's home front door and ask them if they got paid on friday because I didn't!!!!! They owe me about $2000!!!

Not to point out the obvious, but unless you have another job lined up that you can immediately go into, isn't quitting kind of like cutting your own nose off?
Yeah, it sucks that you didn't get paid, but- uh... aren't you going to continue bouncing checks without any income?

So here is the deal. I called my crew payroll during my break today from listening to Mike Melotte talk about aerodata in ATW (1 ? answered). They kept transfering me and finally I got ahold of coorporate payroll. They said when you reign you get taken off payroll status and they take away your automatic deposite. The check gets then sent to your base and up to your base administrator to mail it to you from there. Well my check just so happens to be in Richmond, VA and I'm in ATW Wisconsin.
After explaining to him that it would have been nice to have know this process due to the fact that I got hurt badly with overdraft charges. He said it wasn't his fault. I said there is nothing written about this anywhere to alert anyone. He said it's your flight managers job to know. I said my flight manager was very helpful to me on this matter and that he was aware. He has a suspision but wasn't really sure. After that he said well I CAN'T HELP YOU BYE!!!
I love you TSA thanks for letting me use you!!!

I left TSA back in Feb, and the way it was explained to me, you will get one final check on the 15th. I also was a bit worried when I didn't recieve my 1st of the month check, but the deal is that they wait until the mid-month check, and pay you in one lump sum. Recall that your per diem and any hours over guarantee get paid on the 15th. Therefore you will get your final check then. Its just the way the payroll system is set up. You'll get your money on the 15th.
