Even worst is training pay. I'm already tired of easy mac. What happened to Mexican food tonight?

I was in the CRJ Feb 12, 2007 class.

Through luck, I was able to spend only one month at MKE (social sec #7xxx). I start day one of my scheduled line (no reserve) in a few hours. Five 4-day trips through July 1, then I'm going to FAT to be based.

Skywest will probably open a MCI base in the fall, for Midwest.

For you's guys coming here to MKE, get the hat and blazer. No leather jackets here.

Domicile awards come out next week...I'm half expecting MKE and NOT at all happy about it! You can bet I'll be out of there as soon as humanly possible...looks fairly good with the next class nearly full already.

Ordered a real hat today (not that "Superior" from M+H) and my Leather Jacket - which excites me almost as much as flying the CRJ haha...

BTW, I had heard awhile ago we would probably getting MCI as well - how will that play out (as well as the MKE flying) if AirTran goes through with their purchase plans??

BS dude. You could never be fired for supporting a union drive. Not at SKW or anywhere else, that's federal law and doesn't require a lawsuit to get it done.

The alpa supporters have been displaying alpa stuff for years.

As a new-hire anywhere, it probably behooves you not to openly support or oppose any contentious issue (union, management, religion, age 65, gay marriage, etc). It's not the company you have to worry about, but some rogue instructor... there is a fair amount of subjectivity in sim training and IOE, and you never know if your instructor has a real bug up his butt about some issue.

There are a lot of flights out of Fresno, just very few non-stops to cities outside the Pacific time zone. Still, it's not too hard to commute in and out. I live (and work) on the east coast right now, but I go back to FAT a couple times a month or so. I have only had a problem getting in/out once or twice. I know Delta is thinking about adding a flight to ATL, and maybe there will even be a ORD flight at some point down the road. That would make things a lot easier.
