Get the Purdy Neat...it's worth it. Since you'll be feeling broke after that, buy this flight case. Lots of guys using them:

For $30, it will last you as long as anything else, and fits perfectly. I'm definitely upgrading to a Scott at sometime in my career, but $1000 is too much to spend right off the bat at my airline, anyway.

...or the Kirkland/Costco. Its only $99, built pretty well, and of course has the lifetime REPLACEMENT garuntee. Other bags have gauntees, but a lot of them kinda suck. You end up paying shipping, serivce, or other fees. Even if it is free, best case situtation you're still without your bag while its repaired. Costco just gives you a new one.
