You (being 9E pilots) did what you were supposed to do - hold the line and not sell yourself out. What do you want, a cookie?

not tooting the horn,, maybe if you read peoples previous post you would understand why i am saying what i am saying. everyone is saying 9e is undercuting people to get this flying while we are the only ones who haven't taken concessions to do it. so no, not tooting the horn to much, just educating the uneductated.
Pinnacle pilots need an ALPA contract thats standard and more than $24 second year REAL BAD.
I rode the jumpseat on Pinnacle last summer many times IND-PHL and found out that as a first-year FO at ZW I was only a few nickels short of 2nd year pay at 9E; my second year pay is off the FO chart over there. I understand your upgrade is kinda quick but that level of FO pay is wholly unacceptable to many people and I think that's all he was saying.
I support Pinnacle pilots in their negotiations and have little doubt you folks are going to remedy that whenever you happen to get a TA...but if Pinnacle (and many other regionals) offered better hourly FO compensation and work rules there probably wouldn't be a need for incentives to recruit pilots.

boilerup- As I recall you have never been nice to PCL guys on this board, is there some bad blood somewhere? Pay may not be the best, but I guarantee that whatever we get will be pretty good, and above it all there have not been concessions.

the mec has approved a 2 million dollar strike fund and is preparing for a potential strike. we will get what we want, or i will get unemployment and let the government pay for my 737 type.

Now Airsupport...
I didn't see that quote on this thread and I assumed (evidently incorrectly) you were keeping in this thread. I have never said 9E pilots are _________ (insert slam de jour here) or that they would entertain concessions.
The ARW MEC twice refused to even consider a B-scale that supposedly would have allowed us to win flying for NWA in the last 18 months. TSA pilots refused a concessionary contract extension that would have scoped GoJet. ASA pilots have refused to accept a tentative agreement that would be concessionary in nature. PSA has refused at least twice to fly 900s for their current blended rate and Piedmont has refused to fly the Q400 for their current -300 rate.
More refusal is exactly what this industry needs!
