I interview on the 4th. How do they select where everyone goes once your in class? Age? SS#? Just curious i dont care what i fly as long as im based in MSP. Thanks for any help.

You will bid for your base based on seniority in your class which is based on age. If you get the SF3, you will initially go to DTW or MEM. 3-5 months to hold MSP. If you get the CRJ you will go to MSP automatically, since they are all based there. If you get the CR9, you will get MSP or DTW depending on what is available at the time your class begins.

Considering the speed in which things are moving everyone is is probably thinking that they'll stay a FO for a few more months now so that they can make the ~$13k more a year as a CRJ CA rather than a SF3 CA for the 2 year seat lock.
I was in a July class and we were warned by our instructor not to put anything ahead of ourselves on the preference bid that we absolutely didn't want...because we just might get it before we know it!

But I've got the ATP already. I am thinking it i because I put the SF3 CA on my bottom list below CRJ CA on Preference Bid form on line. I don't know. Although it doesn't really concern me because I am not anxious to upgrade to SF3.
