Yes, Lightningspeed... where do you get the idea we are on deck for any sort if replacement a/c? As mentioned we are capped on 76 seaters. Do you expect DL to go out and buy more 700s? And if nit what makes you thin they'll rb from Comair to give them to us? That's a little arrogant don't you thin? Where do you get to hob nob with DL execs?

And dude... what's with the insults towards our fellow pilot? While I agree with your statements regardng our contract vs. CPs and the big pcture, I disagree with your tone and approach towards Jayray. I may not agree with him and see this all from a different perspective, but I'm not going to insult him.

Hmmm, I never got paid per diem even though I was based in MEM.

New hires get perdiem if their sim training is done away from msp. It wasn't always that way but was negotiated sometime in our last hiring boom.

Quick question: If we get furloughed in 2009 before we use our vacation days will we get paid for those vacation days? If yes when would we see the money? On our last pay check or at some later date?

Thanks in advance

You have to send an email requesting for your payout of your vacation time. The email address is in your furlough packet. Would give it to you but I can't remember where it is and mine is in a box somewhere.

It would be paid out in a separate check, or you could just sit on the time and take a vacation in the year you get recalled (if you want to come back here in the future)

Looks like on delta's website it says they are recruiting pilots. I wonder how many.. If true, at least it's some good news.

Where did you see this? When I clicked on open pilot positions, there were none.
