I'm not familiar with XJ's contract so it's just a guess, but it's all I could think of. I know when I was at XE, we got paid for in base recurrent but did NOT get per diem. I guess since you're in domicile the idea is you can eat at home, although that doesn't help commuters. But they don't care about that, until it saves them $$$ that is.

It does stink, but as you said, it wouldn't really be that much.

Cheers

I beg to differ. When your base pay is 700$ for two weeks per diem makes a sizeable difference. The per diem for my training was over 5% of my whole yearly income.

I guess no news is good news around here right now. Obviously going to get worse before it gets better.

I'm always afraid to click on this thread when I see someone has posted something new. I'll agree that no news is good news.

Sat in on the base visit yesterday. Looks like we are getting the bricks in the planes in about 45 days. Also, I asked Joe for a realistic furlough number for total people, not including what we have now. He said 250, and that is for the overstaffing of the 10 jets we didn't get, and the 23 saabs.

Sorry, I'm slow

So is that 250 off the 1170 (give or take) we used to have or 250 from where we're at now?
