I'm a shorter guy as well 5' 8" or so and I had no issues with the ol' Saab... I know some guys that were a lot shorter and they got through just fine, if they can do it you can to for sure... the seats are very adjustable and the rudders come up pretty far.

Also was told to expect an October 8th class! Does anyone know how soon we will receive an employee number? Most of the new hire forms require it.

It seems like people are scared of the Saab. Don't worry, it doesn't bite... hard.

It doesn't bite, but it might kick you in the rear on your first few landings (and a few occasional ones later on!). As far as height, I've known both tall and short pilots who fit in just fine, with no complaints.
The funny things is, EVERYONE hits their head on the OH panel (and sometimes on the main door) regardless of height!
