I didn't know we started operating the DC-9 at Mesaba but yes you are right it might not be profitable to operate the 900 out of FLL....

We don't know what is going to happen all we know as of now that 10 of our 49 Saabs will be coming off the line at a slow pace starting in Sept. Something is going on because we should be talking about the voluntary furlough by now.

Whats going on is a bunch of head scratching, ball scratching and ass scratching with management. I don't think anything has been decided yet because the darts keep hitting the wall. When one finally hits the board something will happen.

According to the union at the MSA 107 LEC meeting tonight we should hear something specific from the company regarding displacements/voluntary furloughs "very short term. We're thinking within the next week or two." According to one of the union officers this is what Spanjers said today.

And mandatory furloughs a week or two after that? Any numbers from the union on how many guys might be out of a job?
