Not sure if anybody saw this but looks like we have made a proposal for some additional EAS flying out of MEM for a start time around October. Would be nice if we got this just as Big Daddy D pulls back the winter flying. At the bottom of the news article are all the airlines proposals...

"McCutcheons also is hoping the DOT chooses Mesaba Airlines."

So is it wrong if I contact the DOT and tell them what a great choice Mesaba would be?

I think Mesaba would be a great fit. 34 seat Saabs would be easy compared to 9 seats.... PW sucks.

Well looks like TOWOP wont be offered in July for any 900 positions.

I've flown 6 hrs. this month on the Saab. We definitely can use the TOWOP.

I don't understand why they wouldn't do this for the 900...guys in both seats are still not flying. Is there an increase in flying for July that they didn't see coming?

Yeah Im not sure, seems to be all across the board. Increase in flying would be the only reason why they wouldnt offer it to 900 guys, I was kind of hoping they would offer TOWOP or Half Time Lines in August. Guess we will find out soon enough.
