Really no ryhme or reason. Just come to the interview and do your best. And if offered the job welcome. Don't worry about which aircraft you get.

Nope... I'm a furloughed 121 guy with my CRJ SIC type and time and I was placed in the Saab at Mesaba. However, I couldn't be happier. Its going to be nice flying a turbo prop and getting real flying experience...

I guess it isn't possible that a person applies, then does some more research and finds out the company isn't for him? or maybe they found a better job while they were waiting.

Get off the high horse.

For those guys on reserve on the Saab, in any base, how many hours are you getting paid for each month. Are you breaking guarantee?

Unless anyone else's experience was different...99.9% of the time when on reserve you will just make guarantee. When you get a build up you will head over 75 probably though.
