You will receive:
  • 2 pairs of slacks
  • 4 shirts (your choice of long or short)
  • 1 blazer
  • 1 trench coat
  • 1 hat (don't let them forget to give you the hardware at the end of training)
  • 1 tie
  • 1 pair of epaulets
The rest, such as socks, belt, and shoes is up to you. I think that covers it.

And the hat is uuuuuuugggggggly! And I think it would look nice if they gave us "hardware" for our shirts and not just the blazers. Other than that, it's a nice uniform...navy blue jacket and pants w/ gray stripes.

Trust me, you do NOT want that.

I know this is probably the nerdiest thing anyone has said on here... But is there a picture floating around somewhere of what the uniform, and this ugly hat looks like?

If they tried to make us wear hardware on our shirts (for the love of all that's holy), it would be just one more lame policy everyone would have to feel bad about ignoring. Trust me, you don't want hard edged spiky weights on your shirt for a 14 hour work day.

The hat is a cross between an intercity bus driver and a police officer, and by the way no one wears it.

Funny...we were just told in indoc yesterday that hats are to be worn "whenever there isn't a roof over your head." It's gonna be great to see how things are different out "on the line!"

Everyone says that, but I wore em as a CFI and never noticed they were there. I think it looks a little more professional, but its nothing I would cry about.
