Also just got the e-mail from ST, I got the 900 class for Nov. 3. Would have been happy either way, but I think the 900 and I will get along just fine
Mesaba should give you a list of hotels that offer a discount. You should be able to get something under $50. Call and tell them your with Mesaba and see what the rate is.

tom14,
I submitted my app 3 weeks ago. I believe I have fairly competitive times and experience. I was checking to see what seems to be the average wait time for someone that that meets and exceeds the stated minimums (ie. one that may just barely meet mins vs. someone that has a more solid resume, based on the number of qualified pilots looking these days) If most are getting calls within a week or two then I can assume there must be something that I am lacking, that is all. Thanks for any info.

Does anyone know about the reduction of 900 upgrades for November 3rd?

I have 1730 total, just north of 800 multi (almost all of which is 121 SIC jet), maybe 140 PIC piston or so. It seems so random how they are selecting, especially between those who have prior 121. I have a four-year degree with good GPA. Other than that, I can't think of anything that sets me apart, especially in this job market.

erj,
thanks for the info on your times. How long did it take from app in to call for the interview, if you dont mind sharing? I am just trying to get an idea (if there is one to get these days!) of what to maybe expect, thanks.

Anyone know how common it is for a hotel to have gym memberships? If I understand correctly, the membership is with a local gym?

A good friend of mine has about 700 hours TT, 250 Multi...submitted an App two weeks ago and nothing. Times may not be competitive, but are they really hiring across the board?
