From what we were told yesterday in the interview, the progression would/should be:
Saab or CRJ f/o to Saab CA
Saab CA to -200 CA
-200 CA to -900 CA
Saab or CRJ f/o to Saab CA
Saab CA to -200 CA
-200 CA to -900 CA

sounds like a logical sequence
How did the interview go?
What airplane has better QOL after you get a line, saab 200 900?

One captain said QOL was hard to beat in the -900 because they serve Ben & Jerry's ice cream ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
But they all said the "real flying" is in the Saab.
Interview went pretty smooth I think. Everyone was super nice. Didn't get blind sided by anything and didn't crash the sim..(which was a joke by the way...everyone was right)

He said they have the classes starting 9/10 which some of us could possibly make depending on availability.....otherwise they are starting another jet and prop class on 9/24.
He said that they are only about half way with their hiring so they still have a bunch to go. Training classes starting every 2 weeks. Seniority within class in by birthday.
He also said that the leases on the Saabs are going to start expiring in 2010 and Northwest will still see a need for a turboprop venue......so from what I gathered, they might be transitioning to newer tprops. He mentioned the letter "Q".

if a new hire is assigned the crj, what are the chances of later down the road just upgrading to crj ca? i know that now you upgrade to the saab, but would this ever be a possibility later down the road (2 years)
do other regionals have the ca upgrade to the smaller equip first?
do other regionals have the ca upgrade to the smaller equip first?
Now the other thing to remember is as F/O's we are seatlocked for 3 yrs meaning we cannot bid another f/o seat within that time period, but if we are elligible to upgrade to capt we can. Anyway, hearing all you other newhires saying that you're coming on board is music to my ears....more bodies below me on the list. Good luck to us all and welcome aboard!

You should be sitting pretty freaking good then before long, cuz like I said they told us yesterday that they are only about halfway with hiring.
