I was referring to another post and not being negative in any way. I honestly was trying to figure out the difference between turbine and jet time. Which leads me to a logging question I was thinking about. Do you log night time when you are pilot night (EDIT: My intention was to type 'NOT') flying?

There is another one out, just not posted on mymesaba yet. It is the same bumbling, stuttering nonsense that is always on there. Apparently we are going to be using the Champion hangar for maintanence, but that is the only thing new.

Hotel and interview
Hey all, got a call a few days ago with an Oct. 9 interview date. I applied Sept. 9th, and had a captain walk a resume in to the chief pilot. I feel extremely lucky to have the chance to interview, total time 900 with 320 or so multi time. Wondering what hotel you guys that have interviewed used and how it worked out? I'm flying in the night before the interview and am hoping I can chill out enough to sleep. Hoping things go well and I get a thumbs up, good luck to the rest of you applying.
I read the instrument oral guide cover to cover, reviewed the Seneca POH, and found everything I could on Jepp charts and plates. Very basic interview. Just relax and show the interviewers you are someone they can get along with. Got the call a week after the interview. Start Oct 6 for the 900.
900 TT, 25 Multi. Jet Equivelancy Training in the 200. WMU grad.
I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten the job. But your guess is as good as mine as to how they determine who to call.
Good luck to everyone.

I stayed at the Best Western Dakota Ridge 651-452-0100 a couple weeks ago. Nice place. One of the guys I interviewed with said he was so close to the highway the noise kept him up all night.

25 multiengine hours and you will be flying a turbojet with 76 passengers.....wow. No wonder pilot wages have gone down so low.

Yeah! cause 50-75 more hours in a multi prop will give you an invaluable amount of experience that would make you a better pilot on a ....turbojet.

There could be more intelligent comments to make on the forum. Tylervet got the job over many "more qualified" individuals time wise maybe. But it's apparent that time is not the only factor in the equation when it comes to getting hired.
