The math would say that Mesaba will flow 240 pilots a year, again in the best case scenario assuming there is constant hiring with 2 classes a month. I think the flowee also needs 30 months in the left seat. I could be very wrong on this anyone have anything else can add or correct?
They need to be employed by mesaba for 30 months, and must be a captain. There is no length as a captain requirement. The top 500 pilots at mesaba meet these requirements as long as they are captains.

Not a bad deal. At least you don't have to spend six months preparing for the interview. I realize by participating in the flow through, you run the risk of a flow down. However, the possibility of a flow up means that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you guys and I'm sure plenty of regional guys would like that. See you soon.

For mesaba unless I missunderstood previous info about the flow I believe max is 9-12 per month not class but do not have the info to quote direct. Max 10% of pilot group per year as well I beleive.

It hasn't been an issue yet as only a handful of our people are there now. It would be great if it started up again. After awhile with no movement these past few vacancies have gotten everyone talking about something .. . .

Just finished winter ops training class today.......it seem that rumors of mesaba growth are very true. This is coming from a Saab sim instructor.....Mesaba plans on doubling there jet fleet, upgrading the current Saab fleet by add some new gadgets(ACARS) even the rumors about the ATL bases might be true...... but have to wait till the offcial anocument......Also they are getting more apply applications then they can handle so its taking time to call everyone back......either why there is good new coming down the pipe everyday so its a great time to be at Mesaba if you can get in!!! good luck to everyone that has interviews coming up!!
