I've applied a couple of times....but keep getting the no thanks letter...
wonder why...think I should keep being persistent? Maybe a phone call to HR would help...

Question for the Mesaba guys. I understand that there will be a flow through with you guys to follow the merger and that a minimum number of positions per class will be staffed by Compass and Mesaba pilots. My question is how many pilots are there currently at Compass and Mesaba and how long are the new hires looking at before they flow up if we hire roughly 200 per year from Compass and Mesaba. That assumes that 30% of each class is filled with the two airlines.

Mesaba is reaching 1200 total pilots, the top 100 already elected to not flow, that leaves an estimated 1100 pilots to flow. To my understanding there are 9-12 spots allocated to Mesaba in each NWA class. If they do 2 classes a month that is about 20 a month, in the best case scenario. The math would say that Mesaba will flow 240 pilots a year, again in the best case scenario assuming there is constant hiring with 2 classes a month. I think the flowee also needs 30 months in the left seat. I could be very wrong on this anyone have anything else can add or correct?
