guess you better hope there are no schedulers perusing this board, then, mr. fluth...or make alternate travel plans! I've found non-revving on my days off works better, especially if I've been sick recently. But of course there could be circumstances that don't permit this, in which case I'll understand.

I'm just sayin' florida is a long walk from MSP with no non-rev privilages and would hate to see someone put in that situation.

Suppose you get sick while you're on vacation (or @ home away from domicile) and were too sick to make it back in time for a scheduled 4-day trip. and then mid-way through your scheduled 4-day trip, you start feeling better and you fly (non-rev) back to your base, to possibly finish the rest of your trip/ be on call. Where in the contract does it say we can't non-rev while on a sick day??

okay so this might be a dumb question but are we NOT allowed to non-rev during a trip that we have called in sick??

Doesn't specifically say that in the contract, however it is in the employee handbook. Most airlines have this as a policy.
Flight Privileges
Employees who call in sick are not eligible for pass privileges while out. Misuse of this policy could result in loss or suspension of pass privileges and/or could lead to further disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Couple of questions.
What does a CAT II checkride cover? And after the checkride, do you get an additional 120 days before you need another checkride or not?
Reason I ask is because unless I get a line in September, there is no way I will make my 100 hours so I'll have to get an extension. Even then I dunno if its possible. I finished OE with minimum hours and have only gotten 2 hours since (highspeed reserve). Have a little less than two months left until my 120.
