Thanks in advance (sorry its not a new hire question but, I don't feel like starting a new thread.)
Its cool JoePa. They have suspended hiring for now. There are a few guys in the pool waiting for class dates. I would assume that they will start hiring again starting in Aug maybe. As far as updating the resume, keep trying to update it and hopefully it works. Good luck.

Don't count on any hiring/interveiwing in Aug... maybe a few drained from the current pool.... The music has basically stopped here. Unless, A. Flowthrough starts up again and pulls 9/month this fall B. we get the options on the 76 seaters without loosing the 50 seaters or C. An amazing act of God we aren't going to see much in movement or growth again soon. It's going to be much like the last several years with very little movement. Word is attrition is at 3 a month mostly from FO's realizing this job wasn't for them....

Was riding on the crewbus the other day with and overheard a pinnacle FO say that he thinks they (Delta/NWA) will give all the 36 options we have for 900's to them....i found that to be entertaining...but nothing surprises me

A pinnacle FO on another thread says that we (as in mesaba) have already been sold to pinnacle...............in other news, rhode island, neither road nor island, discuss..........we park on driveways, and drive on parkways....interesting indeed!

Let's see. We have two majors that may join and could establish "fences" between the pilot groups until issues of seniority are resolved. It is claimed that the new Delta/NWA (which doesn't really exist yet) has sold Mesaba to Pinnacle which already has "fence" issues with Colgan. Now we can establish "fence" issues with Mesaba. There is also 99% strike authorization as part of the problem.

I don't understand. Somebody needs to buy lots of snow fence because I think this is a "snow job."

Was the planned hiring this year all based on attrition? They had said 300 more before all the stuff hit the fan. It would seem they would have to hire a bit more once the opening of saab seat locks stops.

Right now the -200 is pretty much staffed, the SAAB is overstaffed (more TOWOP for July) and to fix the error of overstaffing the SAAB they are filling -900 FO slots from SAAB FO slots, I heard from an FTI that they are still interviewing one day a month but I also heard classes are filled till August, I believe there are still around 12-13 more -900s to come, so in I bet by Fall (pending any hold up between now and then) the new hire classes will start back up...with attrition slowing so much I am sure the 300 more pilots number has decreased drastically
