For us... probably, for the Saabs it better not be. I was looking through to see what I would have held had I chose to stay there and I didn't see one line with 75+ hours credit in June. Plus a bunch of reserves on top of that.

I'm just interested to know what everyone thinks...
With Mesaba still hiring and one of only a couple that is, does that mean things are going good or should I say "better than most", with these oil prices?

Well, I can't say I am surprised, but I just received a letter from Mesaba that my class date (June 30) is cancelled because they are "re-evaluating" and that I am effectively in the hiring pool for the time being. I interviewed in late February, hired in March and have been waiting since. More steep turns and pattern work, Yay!! Best of luck to those of you currently employed, I hope you keep your jobs and for those of you like me I hope you are able to keep working. Hopefully see you in class someday. Hang in there everybody.

TSWEEN The most (18) are supposed be in DTW. The rest will be spilt between MSP and MEM with MSP having slightly more frames than MEM. So figure 10 MSP and 8 MEM as an educated guess?

Seniority is everything in this business. I would continue to interview and consider a carrier that can get you into class ASAP. We have had our big period of growth here at Mesaba. It is going to be status quo for a while.

Keep your options open. If for whatever reason, Mesaba is the only choice for you, we welcome you. However, if Mesaba is a step in the ladder to the mainline, I would interview and get hired ASAP by another carrier who is filling classes.

Numbers that were tossed out at the beginning of the CR9 program were:

MSP 11
DTW 18
MEM 7
