Here's a newb question...when comuting, or non revving in general, if you want your bags to go to the final destination, and you end up nonrevving on two separate flights (maybe two different airlines even), how do the checked bags get there? My guess is that you have to go pick them up at baggage at the intermediate stop, and re check them.
Please tell me there is a better method.......

Dont check them, carry on only when your non-reving or jumpseating. That's if you want to see them anytime soon.

carry on in my case is not possible, heading to sims, but have to commute to the domicile first, but I was also thinking in terms of non rev vacationers, but it sounds like its just a risk you take.
Back to my case, I assume I am going to be headed down to baggage claim and heading back to the ticket desk and then security, luckily I should have WAY more than enough time to do it this time.

I've always hated having to check my bags when going to training.... but I've never had to make a connection and always had my bags make the trip with me. Just another reason it's nicer living in the hub. (job related reasons only)
